We are deeply saddened to inform you that sweet Lesa Pace passed away on December 20th 2018. Lesa was one of the most unique and special souls that has ever graced the planet and her loss will be felt far and wide. She was a warrior without match as she battled to regain function after a devastating stroke and that strength and courage continue right until the end as she fought to come back from a terrible fall. We will never forget the lessons that she taught through her quiet, humble, and hilarious manner. We love you so much Lesa and will miss you terribly, but we all know what you would want us to do with this pain; turn it for good!
Mike and the kids have found a way to turn this tragedy for the good of many and celebrate their wife, mom, and grandma, as well as celebrate Lesa’s life and passion. They are setting up a Math Scholarship that will be given yearly in Lesa’s name! Though Lesa would hate having attention on her, I think she will be smiling as she watches students be awarded the “Lesa Pace Math Scholarship”, which will allow them to continue on their educational journey, as well as help Mike and the kids continue on their journey of healing and growth.
With that being said, the Pace family is asking that we donate to this fund in lieu of flowers. Thank you for doing Anything for a Friend Lesa Pace style!
P.S. These donation pages are also used for events so please make sure you click on the MAKE A CASH DONATION TO LESA PACE button to help this great fund grow!
There will be a Viewing/Celebration of Life held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Lindquist in Layton. The Funeral will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00am at the Valley View Stake Center, 1589 E. Gentile St., Layton, UT, with a brief viewing at 9:30am.
